Work Planner / Facade Construction Drafter – Helmond
As a Work Planner and Drafter, you will work in Helmond on innovative facade systems for projects domestically and internationally. You will divide your time between approximately 60% drafting in AutoCAD and 40% work preparation: you will draw up quotations, convert approved assignments into orders, source the right materials, and monitor costs. You will join the Facade Business Unit at SFS Benelux, a small and close-knit team with technical and commercial colleagues, short lines of communication, and plenty of room for initiative. You will earn €4.499 – €5.000 gross per month for 36–40 hours, with 30 vacation days and the prospect of a permanent contract.
About the feature
You are the link between the client, technical team, and execution. From the request to the project documentation, you are the one who keeps the project technically and administratively in order.
What you do:
- Accurately develop installation drawings and details in AutoCAD (approximately 60% of your time)
- Preparing quotations and maintaining contact with the customer
- Converting approved quotations into an order for execution
- Finding and selecting the right materials for the project
- Monitor costs during the project
- Maintain project documentation and prepare it for the client
You will work in the Facade Business Unit, where SFS Benelux develops innovative facade systems for projects domestically and internationally. The team in Helmond is small and close-knit, consisting of technical and commercial colleagues. Communication lines are short: you can share your ideas and initiatives directly, and there is room for further development within the department.
Candidate profile
What do you bring
Requires:
- MBO/HBO working and thinking level, acquired through education or work experience, preferably in civil engineering or mechanical engineering
- Knowledge of and experience with AutoCAD and MS Office
- Technical insight and a service-oriented attitude
- Good command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written
- You enjoy working together in a team, also with other disciplines.
- You easily put forward your ideas and initiatives and coordinate through short lines of communication.
Pre:
- Knowledge of French or German
- Ambition to advance within the department
