Inside Technical Sales Representative – Lighting Technology – IJsselstein
As an Inside Technical Sales Representative at Axioma Lighting in IJsselstein, you are the first point of contact for clients, consultancy firms, and installers. You support the account managers with lighting projects in the B2B market and public spaces: you prepare quotations, provide input on luminaire selection and lighting control, and follow up on inquiries through to order placement. You work 32 to 40 hours per week from IJsselstein (Utrecht region) and grow within Axioma Netherlands to become a specialist in lighting control and configuration. Internally, this role is called Technical Project Support & Engineering.
About the feature
You work in the internal sales department and liaise daily with clients regarding ongoing and new projects. Technical and commercial preparation go hand in hand for you: you translate a request into a suitable lighting proposal and ensure the project is executed smoothly.
What you do:
- Serve as the first point of contact for customer relations within the internal sales department.
- Account managers provide support in technical and commercial processes
- Prepare quotations and actively follow up
- Contributing ideas for lighting control and configuration solutions – at Axioma Nederland, you will develop into a specialist in this area.
- Working with lighting calculation software DIALux EVO
- Building long-term relationships with end users, architects, technical consultancy firms, and installation companies
- Coordinating with suppliers and internal departments
You work on projects for both buildings (non-residential) and public spaces, where outdoor lighting and lighting control play an increasingly important role.
Candidate profile
What do you bring
Requires:
- MBO+/HBO working and thinking level, technical and/or commercial
- Affinity with (lighting) technology, particularly for outdoor spaces
- Accurate, independent, solution-oriented, and strong communication skills
- Maintain an overview and collaborate effectively in a small team.
- Residing in the Utrecht / IJsselstein region
Pre:
- Experience in the lighting industry (indoor and outdoor) and knowledge of market players
- Experience with or interest in lighting control and system balancing
- Familiarity with DIALux EVO
More important than a complete CV: technical interest, a willingness to learn, and the desire to truly master the field of lighting control.
