For an internationally operating organization in laboratory technology, we are looking for an independent and technically strong Support & Applications Engineer. Based at the Oosterhout location, you will work on high-quality analytical equipment for elemental analysis and support customers and distributors in the Benelux, Germany, and occasionally other European countries.
The organization specializes in the sales, installation, service, and application support of advanced laboratory instruments. Examples include systems for ICP-OES, TOC and mercury analysis, automated sample changers, and Dissolution & Diffusion testers.
Your position
As a Support & Applications Engineer, you are responsible for technical service, installation, application support, and customer training. You work both on-site at customer locations and from the application and demonstration laboratory in Oosterhout.
Your duties will include:
- Installing and commissioning laboratory equipment at customers in the Benelux and Germany.
- Training users in the correct and safe use of analysis equipment.
- Performing service, maintenance, and repair work on laboratory instruments in the Benelux.
- Providing technical advice and support to customers, users, distributors, and resellers.
- Supporting application research and laboratory activities.
- Assisting with product demonstrations and demonstrations of laboratory equipment.
- Occasionally performing service, installation, and technical support in other European countries.
- Assisting with other tasks within a compact and professional team.
A versatile technical position

Candidate profile
For this position, we are looking for a technically interested and customer-oriented Support & Applications Engineer who enjoys working with laboratory technology and wants to further develop their skills. Experience is a plus, but not a requirement: we consider motivation, an eagerness to learn, and a practical approach just as important.
You have:
- A completed HBO degree in Laboratory Technology, Physics, Chemistry, or a similar technical field. An MBO education with several years of relevant work experience is also suitable.
- A flexible attitude. You understand that service and installation work sometimes runs over schedule and can handle this well.
- A strong willingness to learn new technical knowledge and skills.
- An inventive and practical mindset: you think in solutions and know how to find a suitable approach, even for unexpected technical challenges.
- A strong customer-oriented attitude and the drive to help customers as best as possible.
- Good social and communication skills.
- Good command of the English language, both oral and written.
- Affinity with laboratory equipment, technology, and analytical applications.
Relevant experience with laboratory instruments, elemental analysis, or technical service is a plus, but certainly not a requirement. We also invite recent graduates with the right education and motivation to apply.
