Service Coordinator Medical Equipment – Mollem (Flanders)
As a Service Coordinator at SteelcoBelimed in Mollem, you plan and coordinate service visits for medical equipment for cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization. You are the central point of contact between customers, service engineers, and technical support: you distribute maintenance, repairs, commissioning, and escalations across the engineers' schedules and keep everyone informed. You earn €3.500 – €4.500 gross per month based on a permanent contract of 39 hours, work two to three days a week at the office and the rest from home, and also receive a 13th month salary, a bonus of up to one month's salary, meal and eco-vouchers, and a premium-free pension. You communicate fluently in both Dutch and French.
About the feature
You monitor the service schedule from start to finish. You know which engineer is where, which customer is waiting for an intervention, and which malfunction takes priority. In the event of an urgent assignment, you liaise with the relevant departments, set priorities, and adjust the schedule immediately – without derailing the rest of the week.
What you do:
- Schedule service visits: You coordinate maintenance, repairs, commissioning, and escalations, efficiently align the service engineers' schedules, and keep customers informed in a timely manner.
- The central point of contact is: You are the communication hub for customers, technicians, and technical support, ensuring that everyone involved has the correct information.
- Coordinate urgent tasks: For an urgent assignment, you consult with various departments, set priorities, and quickly adjust the schedule.
- Monitor administration and invoicing: You ensure accurate administrative processing, check invoicing, and identify opportunities to further optimize service processes.
You work with equipment that must not stop in healthcare and laboratories. A well-planned intervention here means that a sterilization process continues and a department can carry on.

Candidate profile
What do you bring
Requires:
- Experience in a coordinating role within technical service or service planning
- Fluent Dutch and French, spoken and written
- Maintaining an overview under pressure: you set priorities and quickly adjust the service schedule in the event of breakdowns, urgent orders, or unexpected changes.
- Working accurately, in a structured manner, and with initiative, with experience in planning software
- The ambition to take on a senior role and the position of point of contact within the service team.
Pre:
- Experience in the medical technology, healthcare, or pharmaceutical sector
- Knowledge of SAP and Field Service Management (FSM)
- Proficiency in English
Do you come from another technical service environment – mechanical engineering, installation technology, laboratory or process equipment – and do you speak fluent Dutch and French? Then the transition to medical technology is easy to make.
