Field Service Engineer Disinfection and Sterilization Equipment – Central Netherlands
As a Field Service Engineer at SteelcoBelimed, you maintain, repair, and install disinfection and sterilization equipment at hospitals, sterilization departments, laboratories, and pharmaceutical clients in the Central Netherlands. You work independently on-site, with your own company car and direct responsibility for equipment essential for infection prevention and patient safety. Full-time (36-40 hours), with a one-year contract and the prospect of permanent employment, a company car, 25 vacation days and 13 ADV days, and intensive product training via the in-house Academy. About the feature
You are responsible for the technical functioning, maintenance, and installation of disinfection and sterilization equipment at clients in the Central Netherlands. One day you analyze and resolve a complex malfunction, the next day you commission a new installation or train users in the safe and optimal use of the equipment.
What you do:
- Perform preventive and periodic maintenance on disinfection and sterilization equipment
- Analyze, diagnose, and resolve technical malfunctions
- Perform repairs and replace necessary parts
- Proactively assess the technical condition of equipment and identify potential problems in a timely manner
- Advising customers on maintenance, technical points of attention, and possible solutions
- Installing and commissioning new disinfection and sterilization systems on-site at the customer's location
- Providing technical instructions and training to customers and users
- Carefully manage assigned assets: service vehicle, spare parts, and measuring and testing equipment
- Report performed service, maintenance, and repair work fully and correctly
- Report quality problems, non-conformities, potential risks to persons, and data security incidents immediately.
You work largely independently on location, but you are not alone. You coordinate regularly with customers and colleagues and contribute your technical knowledge to reliable, safe, and high-quality service.
On-call service: Approximately once every six weeks, you are on call for a week. During this time, you are available by phone until 10:00 PM for acute technical malfunctions. Where possible, you resolve malfunctions remotely. If an on-site intervention is required, you coordinate the follow-up with Dispatch the next morning so that a Field Service Engineer is on-site as soon as possible.

Requires:
- A completed technical MBO education, preferably in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a similar field. Relevant work experience can partially compensate for the education.
- The ability to work independently, precisely, and in a structured manner, and to diagnose technical malfunctions quickly and accurately.
- A customer-oriented attitude and the motivation to provide customers with professional and high-quality service.
- Discipline to carefully follow customer-specific work, quality, and safety regulations
- Good ICT skills: you work independently with digital reporting systems and connect equipment to a laptop, customer network, or machine interface.
- A VCA certificate or the willingness to obtain one
- Good command of Dutch and sufficient English to follow technical training and understand English-language documentation
- Willingness to be on call approximately once every six weeks

- Experience with electrical medical equipment
