Collaboration NSVV Foundation – European Lighting Expert (ELE)
Since 1937, hundreds of professionals from the lighting industry have been affiliated as volunteers with the Dutch Foundation for Lighting Science (NSVV). Voltys Recruitment & Executive Search has a partnership with the Foundation for Lighting Science (NSVV).
The title European Lighting Expert (ELE) is a quality label for competent handling of lighting. It is a training standard that extends across national borders. Over the past few years, the Lighting Technology Societies of Germany (LiTG), Austria (LTG), Switzerland (SLG), and the Netherlands (NSVV) have jointly developed a protocol for this European Lighting and Lighting Technology training.
The curriculum (taxonometrics) of the program is at the higher professional education level and covers all aspects of light, lighting, the associated electrical engineering, and its influence on humans.
ELE courses in the Netherlands are provided by private educational institutions such as the Lighting Design Academy (LDA), Meutzner Licht Opleidingen (MLO), and the Higher Lighting Engineering ELE course at the ROC.
Meeting the attainment targets of this ELE training, combined with practical experience, grants access to the independent written and oral assessment exam for Registration as a “European Lighting Expert” (ELE). At Voltys, we recognize the added value of this training. This allows Dutch and international employers to gain insight into the knowledge and skills of their staff.
